The new office is planned, as an extention to the office block of the existing Marketing Center for Mercedes, which we had designed as a complex in 2001. Planning the office building to fulfill the capacity increase of the required departments was the first concern, while determining the architectural identity of the building, in relation with the existing building and with the headquarters building on the adjacent plot, which we had designed in 2008. The joint block, sitting on the foundations of the existing building is handled as a more transparent unit, with steel structure. The office block is designed suiting the levels and lines of existing building, but with the architectural approach of the headquarters building, to emphasize the difference of time. A simple and contemporary interior design approach was maintained, with the incorporation of corporate preferences.
